Clinical picture

In addition to the actual cracks between the fingers, the following symptoms may be added to the clinical picture:

  • dryness and peeling of the skin;
  • deformation and yellowing of nails;
  • discharge of pus from damaged tissues (the first sign of inflammation);
  • itching.

Depending on what is causing the skin to crack, rashes, redness, and swelling may also occur.
